Meet Jerry

Jerry Purvis started his career as an insurance claims adjuster. Despite working in the industry for over twenty-five years, Jerry, like millions of Americans, felt like he would never be able to retire. Everything changed when he met Jonathan and worked with him to manage his investments and educate himself on his financial options.

Jerry was impressed with the quality of Melton & Company's work and the genuine care that Jonathan has for each of his clients. So impressed, in fact, that Jerry decided to make a career change and become a Financial Planning Specialist. He wanted to help other people achieve the same level of financial confidence and security he found at Melton & Company.

Jerry is a proud alumnus of North Georgia College, where he had the honor of commanding the National Champion Blue Ridge Rifles Military drill team and was a member of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity. He also completed the Army’s Basic Airborne Course (BAC) at Fort Benning.

When Jerry is not helping his clients prepare for retirement, he enjoys spending time with family. He is very proud of his daughter Ashley, and his grandchildren Halie, Justin, and Dalton.
